Still Funny After All These Years
Start with a catchy tune (that you will be whistling by day's end), add one lovable-if-inept character, one ingenious, very determined baby and mix with with beautiful hand-drawn artwork from the 1940's.
No laugh tracks to cue you, and no bloodshed or foul language to shock you; but guess what? You're smiling after 30 seconds and laughing out loud long before the cartoon's end.
Isn't that what cartoons are all about?

Gabby
Yes the Character may be annoying as hell, but uts a cartoon from early in the century. It is fun, fluff, not to be taken all that seriously, I thik Dave Fleicher did a very good job with the tools He had at the time. Certain much better than alot of the garbage today.

Good..!
Good cartoon featuring good animation, a good plotline, and some good voice acting. Hardly a masterpiece but still quite good.

All's Well That Gets Diapered in the End
Alls well with Gabby until he meets an obnoxious baby who resists all attempts to have his diaper changed. This is a pretty ordinary cartoon that ends predictably.
Ratings: Camp/Humor Value: ***. Weirdness: **. Historical Interest: ***. Overall Rating: ***.

Gabby Gets It
Starts pretty slow and has a Snow White feel to it. SO...where is this kid's mom anyway. Had a feeling I knew how it was going to end half way through, should have stopped then.
